Both are social site, which are made to entertain the users and these sites are also a big way to drive a traffic so as we compare both these sites so we have remember that facebook has made his worth in market and it have lot of users and google plus is new in market so it has not so much facilities for users at start but it also make a worth in market.

Google plus is equally good in terms of usage but when we talk about users and followings, Facebook is on the top. I was reading a post from Google management stating their forecast of crossing the Facebook fan following. Now we can only wait and watch how things go about as only time can tell which one will be on the top. For now both are putting equal efforts to gain more users and following.
I personally think Google plus has the potential to overcome Facebook user following but for that they would need to offer a strong competitive edge to the users.

Facebook is better than google plus.

At this time so many people can using more Facebook because they giving more nice features then Google+ but i at my knowledge is Google+ is more beneficial then Facebook because facebook are most chatting site and more then people can using that the chatting purpose, so Google+ is good to promoting more our business as well as facebook.

This topic is interesting, so for you guys the traffic coming from Google+ and Facebook is the almost the same.

But do you think that public posts on Google+ ranks higher on Google than facebook posts?

Well, I read the thread and lots of vote is in facebook favor but one thing I want to share is that your google plus presence affect your google search ranking. The number of plus 1 on your post and number of plus 1 on business pages are some major factors in google search these days.
Therefore, for ranking purpose Google + is better and for interaction purpose Facebook is great.

Right now Facebook is considered "better" because of the amount of people on the network. Google Plus is showing a strong number of users, but in terms of promoting a product, right now it's not as strong as Facebook. Having said that, having a fan page is not enough. To really gain traction you need to use Facebook's ad platform.

Why? There's a statistic that says 95% of Facebook users don't go back to fan pages after "liking". Think about it. Do you go back to fan pages you liked? Probably not. So now you have to compete with the stream, which means you're competing with family and friends of your target customer.

I would say if you have a product or service that's more B2B, Google Plus is probably a better network to be involved with. More B2C? Facebook is the better choice due to the way people use the platform.
