The only thing that comes to my mind is 'viral marketing.' It's not a new way but it's probably the most effective marketing technique with regard to using video as your medium.

Make a good video from a good quality camera about your products, services, your building, etc. and show important things in these videos which a visitor may find useful.

Don't make a video much lengthier, 5 to 10 min is ideal.

Then write something about you and post a link in the description box.

    Then see the results.

It would be better if you share these video links on different social media sites, send with emails, put on your website, etc. for more better results.

I don't think most people would have the patience to watch that. Ideal length is probably around 1:30 to 2:00.

Everything on Youtube is content driven.Right? Thus, this is the key to your success. Get the people interested in your brand. I believe the proper approach on a budget, roughly $500 should buy you an all-in-one ad of rich quality content that will really pop and go viral. If the industry you're in is sells a product that is reasonable,as far as, price and relevant in regards to the consumer need/want. A great way to start is make sure you create the pitch, then the details of the ad then a concept piece of how you'd like the ad to flow and still manage to get to the user the purpose of the product.

Great tips on here. Depending on your budget, I also think that using a web-based screen recorder makes it very easy to create and share your screencasts/videos on your products, services of tutorials to be uploaded via YouTube. I've used Screenr in the past - Screenr | Instant screencasts: Just click record and it's very convenient. Of course keep in mind the tips above about not making it long.

The key is to help Google, and readers, connect the video with your content. In the description of your video, ALWAYS include a link to your website even if you only place it at the end of your text. This helps both Google and your readers find you.

I would agree that tutorials are a huge part of the YouTube community. Make a high quality, concise video rich in content of your how to use your service or product and post a link for it everywhere....Facebook, twitter, your website, your blog....and the video will gain momentum. The hardest thing is to get that first video out there and noticed. If you continually post quality content and have a fan base that will "like" and subscribe to your channel...you will get noticed instantly once you post a video.

After thought....maybe even make your video a series?! Breaking it up in to "bite size pieces"? Just a thought to get more content.

The only factor that comes to my thoughts is 'viral promotion.' It's not a new way but it's probably the most beneficial promotion strategy with respect to using movie as your method.
