Hey all.

Chris here, I'm 23 and from good Ol' Lafayette Indiana, USA
I graduated from Purdue University in May of 2006.

Found this site through Google searchin'...big surprise i know.
Anyway it seems to be exactly what i am looking for.

I've come into a good deal of money which is invested and doing quite well in various mutual funds at the moment until I figure out my next step.
I am 2 months into a new job as an Engineer at a very good fortune 100 company so I have no desire to leave my job right away.

I am however currently in the process of trying to startup a couple of companies with a few of my friends.

I will most likely be posting on this site to get some business investing ideas, potential invesments, and advice about current and potential business ventures.

I would try investing in CD's. My dad bought some CD's 6 months ago, Put in a couple hundred grand and after the time was over he got about $6,000. I think it was at %5.000. Anyway, Welcome to the forums!

Thanks all, i appreciate the welcomes.

I have looked into CD's and though they are the safer way to go I feel that mutual funds are best for me. The market has been doing very well aside from the Feb. 27 plunge, and I am currently earning about 14+% on my investments (18% before Feb.27) but I feel that the market is stable enough right now that as long as I am diversified not in all high risk funds I will see a great return on my investments. Thanks for the advice though.
