Hi, My name is Will and I am an aspiring Entrepreneur.

I currently run a website where I make over $1,000 a month, but I believe I can grow the site and income by much more!

I am trying something new though.. I want to document my journey through videos and twitter to show the steps I am taking, my failures and successes. hopefully this will help motivate you to work on your businesses as I believe anyone is capable of becoming an entrepreneur given even passion and motivation.

Video #2 will report back the progress I've made and what I've done in the last couple of days to grow the site.

I think documenting your business journey is a great idea, I'm sure it will help a lot of people.

it is a world of warcraft site... I started back in August 2007.
Originally I just started it because I knew a lot about the game, and posted articles about how to level in the game and make gold, as I spent a lot of my time analyzing and researching this information.

When my traffic started to grow I stumbled on another site called problogger . net where he teaches people how to monetize their sites/blogs to make income from it.

So, after installing google adsense, and also getting affiliate sales set up, I started earning $80/month from just 200 pg views/day... then I thought... if I could grow this traffic to 2,000/day I could be making $800/month? well the site is at around 3,000 views/day and is making over $1,000... so now of course I want to see how far I can go with this and hit 10,000 views/day!

I am trying to hire writers, I have one great writer on board so far, and offer them $ for every 1,000 visitors they bring, like youtube partner program offers their directors.

I decided that it would also be a good idea to start documenting this progress via youtube videos/twitter/and my own blog, so that others who want to make money online can get motivation from my success and see what I do daily to work towards my goal to increase traffic. I wish I had someone to bounce ideas off of and discuss this stuff with when I was growing, but problogger was a big help and inspiration.

yes, while it is easy to set up a blog etc.. I hate coming up with a domain name lol.. it is a big decision due to how much it impacts your placement in search engines and it will be my "brand" name pretty much.

but yes, I am planning on getting that up tomorrow hopefully, but using my twitter right now for updates, and the video as a weekly update/motivational talk, as people are usually more drawn to video.

In your case I don't think it will be that difficult (well not as difficult as it could be). You have one functioning site which you can use as a tool to drive traffic to the new site and you're already a member of a site (this one) where you will probably be able to attract a lot of users due to your content.

Looking over your site I can see why your earning so much with such a small (relative to your earning amount) viewing audience. Your ads are good, and inciting, and I see them with NoScript + AdBlock installed

I have come back from a hard week of working on the site and have success to report.

1. Site has grown from 2,700 pg views/day to 3,500 views/day. (target 10,000)
2. I achieved this through starting to post youtube videos related to my websites niche topic which drove 1,000 visitors to the site in 1 day and I recieved 20 subscribers
3. Hired my first writer.
