To all whom it may concern

Hello everyone,
This is my first post, and to all whom it may concern, I was wondering:
If you knew a fifteen year old kid who could guarantee to turn fifteen thousand dollars into one-hundred fifty thousand dollars within six months, would you believe it? What if the same kid could explain and demonstrate the easiest and simpliest ways to make money off the stock market, would you think it's impossible? I mean, fifteen years old is kinda far-fetched right? That kid should still be in highschool chasing girls around. But he's not. He's sitting at his computer with a minor comprehension of the business world while brainstorming business ideas down on his wordpad to later improvise and improve on. His attitude and maturity astonishes those who at first didn't know his age. He has the ability, attitude, and 'zest' to go out and turn two-hundred dollars into a fortune, no, not using those 'get-rich-quick' schemes or following one of those 'get-rich-quick' dreams that all kids have. The only problem is, he doesn't have that two-hundred dollars. The -only- problem is he is just a fifteen year old kid, and in today's world, you have to be atleast eighteen to pursue any matter of interest. By then, his interest in the business world has died down and he has taking up a trade that is his passion, a mechanic.
Let's say this kid lives in Canada, B.C., well, right there he cannot get his license until he's sixteen (fully licensed at 18), and most jobs won't accept kids under sixteen anyways. He can drive better then most people and he can work harder then most people. But his age restricts him because people judge his intellect, work ethic and skill by it; mainly because they were judged by it or how they were at that age.
Why have I brought all this up?
Simple... I am that kid. I am fifteen years old, and no matter how you want to put it, I am not 'just a kid' with dreams of fame and fortune that will go nowhere because I don't know what the real world is like. I may not have the full blow of it in my face, but I can comprehend and understand what I do know and I also have the will to comprehend and understand what is brought upon me; no I will not break down and cry when I meet those 'deadends', instead I will endeavour to surpass them and learn from them.
I am trapped in a world of people who judge me by my age, and if you do not believe I am as capable as any of you here, aside from certain skills you may have been taught, then please tell me how I can prove that I am.
I have understanding, yes, at such a young age. Yes, I know some of you would say I'm facing puberty and this is just a phase. My dad who is nearing his fifties reminds me this every day.
If I had fifty dollars in my hand right now, I would turn it into two-hundred within a week, and that I dare to anyone.
No, I am not afraid to get on a stage before a thousand people, all who are reputable executives of equally-reputable companies. I do not welcome what the business world has to offer with fear, but with understanding and comprehension.

This is to all whom it may concern,
If you wish to talk with me upon any matter later, either reply to this message or email me at hectic_life27@hotmail.com

Thank you for taking the time to read this through.

I'm tired of people using their age as a crutch. Being young is only crippling if you allow it to be. You don't NEED a credit card, a drivers license or any other of those things reserved for the aged, to start a succesful business. Being an entrepreneur means being resourceful. Focus on what you do have and can do instead of dwelling on what you can't.

Age does matter, alot. I cannot get a job because I'm not sixteen, law says I can get one at twelve, but nobody hires anyone under sixteen, unless I take the three-hour commute to and from the city every day. I don't get allowance, and I had a paper-route for four years. Every time I saved up money, we 'needed' it for something.
Yeah, age only restricts me so much, but that 'so much' is more then some people would believe, because not everybody grows up in a perfect family.

Wow that kid is you...didn't see that one coming Clear off. 200 is an easy target. Being the resourceful kid that you described yourself as, I am sure you will come up with the money somehow. Maybe you could sell lemonade Anyway christmas is coming up, ask for money instead of gifts.

All the age woes you're describing happened to everybody. There are reasons these laws are put into place and discussing the merits of them isn't worth it.

Besides, legally you can get a job. Stop using the word can't for things that are very possible.

I'm sorry that you don't get an allowance or your parents 'need' your money but thats irrelevant. My cousin work a fulltime job and sends his entire paycheck back to Africa so his family can LIVE. He's 21. We weren't all blessed with silver spoons in our mouths but that doesn't mean we're disabled. I hear people talk about all these obstacles they can't surmount and when you take those obstacles away, new one's miraculously arise.

Stop dwelling on what you can't do and do what you can.

You say that 'most' business owners won't hire people your age right? The last I checked MOST isn't the same as ALL. Keep looking until you find one that will employ you. And if that fails, start washing your neighbours cars or something. There are plenty of jobs for a 15 year old to do.

....

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Khalid. I'm 18, business is my life and its something I love. I live in the UK and since the tender age of around 16 I've been in business. I'm a student in university right now and I have a part time job, my current business' give me extra money on the side and they are investments for the future.

With reagards to the post made, lad if you want something that bad you'll find a way of getting there. If you're idea is so good, why don't you write a business plan and go get a sponser or funding from government. In the UK we have Business Gateway who help those starting up.

If you're business idea proves to make money, I GUARANTEE PEOPLE WILL INVEST!

Things take time though. Yes being 15 can knock you back a little bit, but if you start off small and show people you can make money, you can then build up your business and eventually others will say "hey, this kid is good, I want a piece of this". Thats when you can take your ideas even further and really go national or global!

250 is not a lot of money to build up. You can perhaps do things around the house and earn a little money. Do things for your neighbours etc.

If you are too shy to even approach them, how are you going to run a business and approach real investors?

Wash cars for gods sake, mow lawns or sweep up leaves!

You can e-mail me on: khalid.w.a@gmail.com

I may be interested in investing. I've been where you are now, but you have to take the first steps yourself and prove to others (me also if you are going to get in touch) that you are willing to go for it.

Good luck buddy.
