    The Shoestring Bride

    Hullo all,
I am known as the Shoestring Bride. I am a student at UT Arlington about to graduate. I have a grand idea for a business but no idea at all how to execute and found this surfing around the web. I also am a wedding blogger. I am also looking to expand my readership and use my blog as a launching pad for my new business. I am getting married in February and once that is over and done with (omg stress), I am ready to hit the ground running!

It will be good to get to know you folks

Thank you so much. I originally had a partner for my venture (he knows all about start ups) but he had too much on his plate and had to back out. So... I am fumbling about on my own and hoping to get somewhere

hiii..i like you, you seem cool

yea startups are pretty straight forward, there are right ways to do them and the wrong ways..and the life of entrepreneur is basically a journey of starting everything the wrong way, failing, learning life's lessons and maturing to do things the right way

in a nut shell, the wrong way is basically the "build then sell" method. that's where people borrow a whole bunch of money from the bank, open a beautiful shop and then go about finding customers. this ruins lives.

the right way is the "sell then build" method. this is basically when founders find customers first and then put together their shop using the customer's money.

anyways....it's all a bit trickier than that...but if you want i can talk you through everything...if i have time
