Good question Squandered...Basically for items that arent as well known as say Monster and Red Bull and other things, I will not have as large of a stock of them but I will be selling them at a much lower price which will entice people to buy those. If they get more popular then the price will rise slightly. I will also have other things than energy drinks. I will also be promoting these lesser known products more in the store to increase their popularity since the big name items are already well known

F430- thank you for your comments...I cannot exactly disclose the exact cost that I will be selling at due to contractual issues (basically I havent signed the contract just yet so I am legally not allowed to say), but I can tell you it will be at least 10 bucks less per case. The demand for energy drinks is increasing enough to where I am able to buy in bulk and sell for considerably less. Thank you for your comments please leave more

why sell the lesser known for less... this day and age the higher priced items are usually considered the premium and a choice for the 'in crowd'... another idea that you might like to consider is partnering with an event management company like Procon Leisure... we have secured sponsorship for all their events in Australia (2009)... and with the events they run it is better exposure for the brand than a tv ad or something like that

I think that the college crowd is a great target market, but I would also say that the energy drinks are huge in actions sports. Sponsoring events (like rejoice said) in this arena would be a great way to get the name out. I like the idea of having an internet option as well, I am not sure if that has been mentioned yet.
