    Self Labeled

    Hi,

I want to start with a hearty hello to my new community of what I hope to find are like minded, or at least open minded, individuals. This is such a great service to have. I feel like its a entrepreneur carnival where one booth can get you a quiet sit down, a passing on of knowledge from a seasoned businessman to the polar opposite booth where I can throw shit against the wall to see what sticks.

Shit against the wall brings me to my first question. Where can I go to get all my crock pot ideas out of my head and into a discourse? I know more than half of them, if not all, are far fetched for one reason or another that I'm completely ignorant to. I'd love to have a place for a healthy slap of reality on those so I can focus on the viable ideas and explore them further, hopefully here in a community setting.

I mentioned this community development of ideas to a friend and he was stuck on the idea that everyone would just steal the ideas out from under me or whoever might need some sound boarding. Is that a legitimate concern, if it is I don't care, I'm more curious now than anything?

So thank you in advanced and... wow 2 questions in my first post, guess I'm a thirsty sponge.

Dont take my advice personal however tips for success.

Any businesses whether working face to face or virtually needs to talk more appropriate and keep in mind that conversations can be tracked when on online forums.

My second suggestion is to keep ideas personal until you have ways to secure it against being stolen, somtimes you can simple make a document, seal it in an envelope and mail it to your friends with it being notorized, if someone ever steals your idea you have a date when you thought of the idea.

Forums like YoungEntrepreneur, Facebook, Entrepreneur and many others all have someone or many who are waiting for an idea to take and they will bite it like a shark and a fish.

Trust me, at just 11 years old I invented a product for disabled sports fans which took first place in the entire school of over 500 students who had to compete, inventors were there and they were the judges, my idea is no longer my idea and when I could be a multi-millionaire now I am just now getting off the ground.

Hope this information is of assistance to you and things to consider when posting ideas online.
