My names Steve
I am in the process of starting an online video game business selling games also toys and accesories! it is very hard to find things cheap in NZ and the market is pretty empty.

Looking for any help/direction and experience from business owners alike. Have just graduated Diploma in business at university level and think that i have the ability to Manage an online business.

So, do you mean the market for games in NZ is not very competitive? Be sure to do some in-depth research. I would assume your main competitor would be brick and mortar stores, or major online distributors like 'Steam'. How do you plan to market your business, are where do you plan to ship your products?

Hey there

Yea there are a few websites but only one strikes me as competition. I have made contact with a hong kong distributor but it is hard finding PAL version games for PS3 as they affect the Online download content! xbox 360 is no problem.

I will market my business on social networks and NZ version of ebay called TRADE ME. It is the same thing pretty much. I have a business plan that i hav finished but really im looking for advice on getting suppliers from countrys other then the UK.

Any help would be good
