New to the site

Hello I am LaVonne. I am new to the site.
My business is an investment group that focuses on community redevelopment and smart strategic investments.

I am currently looking for people with interest in investments to pool their resources.

This is an opportunity to gain large retruns with little to no risk. I would basically be paying to use your money in monthly installments of between 4 and 7 percent monthly making about a 50 % or better per year on your money.

This would all be in contractual form.

I also am a partner in a few creative start up companies that are in the works

I'm going to have to be perfectly honest with you, LaVonne. I don't think you're going to find anyone interested here.

As I keep trying to address different aspects of your posting, it's so ridiculous that I keep deleting what I've written and sitting speechless. No successful startup is going to be able to immediately pay returns of 50%+ annually. And a contract doesn't mean squat to an investor if debts are uncollectible, which is what I would bet on.

The big things that stick out in my mind are 1) although you are a "partner in a few creative start up companies that are in the works," unless you can show me otherwise, I wouldn't trust you with a single penny, and even more importantly 2)

I couldn't agree with you more: This IS an "opportunity to gain large retruns (though I think you mean returns, since retruns isn't a word) with little to no risk." However, this is an opportunity for YOU to gain with little to no risk, not the investor. Good luck, because I think you'll need it to find someone to hand over any money. Just being honest.

More or less, I think the offer is that you will be lending money to the entrepreneur and be receiving interest payments on the loan in the amount of 4-7% HPY per month, which adds up to 50% annually.

Needless to say, this is absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who has any experience in business knkows to avoid this opportunity. Not worth your time to even inquire.

Sorry, it's dead on truthful.

I just like seeing the response people give when you point out an oddity in what they are proposing. Lalahurdles- you need to take a minute to look at what you are proposing. There is no such thing as ‘no risk’. If there was then we’d all be rich. Your investment returns are not proposed correctly. As Jmenq2 has shown you need to understand how to propose your idea to potential investors in that they need to understand what you are saying. There is no harm in trying… put your pitch needs a little work
