Talking New Hello from Taiwan
Hey everyone, I'm new here on this forum, from Taiwan. Though American born. I'm currently planning 2 projects and am incredibly glad to have found this forum as a resource. Any help and info is greatly appreciated, as I'm ready to assist anyone else in need, to the best of my knowledge.

The Venture
I'm planning to start a online forum kind of like this one. It seems to me that the primary source of revenue for the forum will be from advertising. Does anyone here have similar experiences in running an internet forum? I'm basically starting from scratch, albeit a free hosting server may be provided. Any ideas, suggestions, highly appreciated!

From another post I posted on this forum, making a profit is notoriously difficult from an online forum.

This is the project that I'm planning, I think if costs could be kept low, and enough members join, there could be enough traffic for advertising. What do you all think?
