No no, you guys misunderstood, i AM going to college, as in i will go, and complete all 4 years. My question is, how likely do you think it is for me to become a millionaire or at least be making six figures, before i graduate? ( i know its a little ambitious)

..do you have any idea how hard it is to make even 1 dollar doing your own thing? there's nothing fun and exciting about business. it's a hell of a lot of work.

if i were you, I'd make it a priority to party, truant and get laid in college. there's always time for work in the future.

HECK NO! if ur determined u can definitely be making six figures while going to college...

my sig link has a start (and its extremely popular among teens ur age) In the past month I've met 4 teens that all made 5 figures creating/buying/or selling websites... other than that I'd suggest checking out other online businesses... try

-> DotComSecrets FREE DVD

-> wealthyaffiliate.com

-> dotcomology.com/
[noaffiliate]

Feel free to pm with questions

I second that. You'll have the rest of your life to work and have responsibility. Have a good time and live your life to the fullest for 4 years.

I've been thinking about that for years. I would advise you focus your mind on positives and keep reminding yourself what you want. Keep at it. It may not come quickly, but, if you keep learning, more will happen over time than you can imagine. You'll be sitting on a sweet situation and working and planning for even better.

The BIGGEST THING TO TAKE CARE OF is your debt management...actually, debt aversiveness is best. Avoid it like the plague, except for what you plan to use to build credit.

Really, work on your discipline in spending habits and keep on churning your ideas. Isn't there a high school group that sits around and practices making up ideas, etc? It's not Star Power, but something else? Ask your counselor about a program like that at your school or a nearby school. Good luck!

Have you thought of things that you actually like doing and how to make money doing them?

I disagree that one should avoid debt like the plague. For those of us who are not disciplined enough to manage their debt properly, then you're dead on. But debt is great. My credit card company gives me interest free loans every month, and I'm able to make money from bank loans and trading on margin that I would otherwise be unable to make. Doesn't sound like I should be avoiding it like the plague, now does it?!

I agree with you hotel guy, every little experience we had in the past can be useful in the future, let us just be patient, our time will come.

I agree with everyone else's posts man. Sorry to say it, but you ARE going to need a part time job....

I don't know if anybody has ever told you this:
"you have to have money to make money", but it's true.

Based on my experience, and what I know now, this is what I'd recommend you do:
Graduate HS, while you're doing this, get a crappy PT job. If things go well, you shouldn't need to work for more than a summer, although working consistently is a good life lesson.

In reality, you will need a few thousand dollars to start out with (if you want to earn a certain amount, then stop working). Take adavantage of the fact that you have virtually no bills right now, and get to eat and sleep for free at your parents. This is huge!

Take your money, and setup some kind of hosting deal. I like Hostmonster for starting out. They give a huge amount of space and bandwidth, and while it may not be the highest quality bandwidth, you can host UNLIMITED domains on your account, and it shouldn't be a problem for smaller sites.

I would set it up this way because after you've paid the initial cost of 2-years worth of hosting ($150), you have a place where you can create and host a new site everyday if you want, all you will have to pay for this is the domain registration fee each time you add one to your account.

Now what you do with this account is up to you. Do you have any programming skills or knowledge, or how do you intend to get rich online? You can hire someone to create your site(s) for you, but this will obvisouly cost more money.

I would suggest starting with a blog to get the feel of how all this works, try that, and keep reading on here and at Digital Point (fuck sitepoint) for more ideas on what kind of site you could start up.

Do go to college. Fuck debt, don't worry about it, you can't. Like jmenq said above, anybody will look at a college grad with 50k debt with more admiration than a highschool graduate with none, it just shows that you're willing to do the work. Plus, you've made the right decision by looking to make money online. There is so much fucking money floating around the internet, if you figure this thing out, you shouldn't have to worry about student loans.

Also, most college kids have part time jobs because they are stupid. I myself am one of these people. I didn't start looking to earn online until very recently, and I'm already making between $200-$400 a month, not doing too much. If I would have had this much income coming in from the beginning of college, I probably wouldn't have needed a PT job the whole time, or I maybe could have cut back to 1-2 days per week. Things have obivously gotten more expensive as school goes on, as I now rent my own house instead of living in the dorms, etc. on the up and up though, I no longer have to buy massive amounts of weed because I can grow it in my house now

so I would suggest that you get a PT job for a bit until you have some capital, finish HS, work all summer and save, and go to college in the fall on student loans. Try to increase the amount you are earning online each month.

to earn online, I would start by reading everything you can, be careful though there's a lot of crap out there that will waste your time. I would look into blogging, and affiliate programs to begin. If you want to create a killer site (earningswise, like milliondollarhomepage) you have to come up with the idea first. And don't be over ambitious thinking you'll start the next Youtube or something... start small, and grow big.
