Hi! My name is Alissa and I am trying a different approach to my life. For the past 2 years I have been assisting my boyfriend, Ryan, in starting his own business. He is intriguingly intelligent and has a great personality, and is a very very good salesman. Unfortunately, the area that we live in is plagued with cheap people who don't recognize deals when they see them and try to hustle on everything! Last month I quit my receptionist job at a RI resort because they were stealing my tips and taxing me on them, nice huh? This has given me more time to help Ryan, but also puts a little more strain on our finances; I do have some money saved to cover bills, but not forever. I have been housekeeping and babysitting, but neither of these would be good to start a business in my area because too many people will do it cheaper... Helping Ryan achieve his goal is my goal at this point.

Ryan has gone to school for Automotive Technology, and he can fix most issues with a car. Which makes me a happy camper when my car wants to act up We started buying cheap cars, fixing the issues and detailing the car, and then sell it. This brings in a decent profit. Ryan also has a Passion for car audio equipment, and he sells and installs anything one might need to have a great sound system. He has a dealers license, buys from a manufacturer and sells not only locally, but on Craigslist and ebay.
He has been growing increasingly stressed, because compared to the amount of bills we have our profit will only get us by. Despite racking our brains, we still haven't thought of something to put us over this plateau. I know that he is meant to own his own business, its just so difficult getting started, getting beyond that point of just paying your bills and managing to not have to go out and get another stressful job.
If anyone has any advice, please fill me in. I am open to suggestions, I very dearly want to make this work.

Thank you!
