Hi everybody my names Kainin Conway (Read more here) and I am hoping to supplement my income by creating a unique blog. Now I have put a lot of thought into how I can make my blog different from the rest. Here is what I came up with. Feel free tio critisize, compliment or just say good luck.
Topics: I am open to suggestions but would like to stay in the "online community" topics though.
Thought it would be better to make it different first and then choose topics.
Differences: The blog will have characters with different personalities just like a book does. However unlike a book the characters personalities will be shown in the peices they write covering news. For example I have a character who is a narcissist who thinks very highly of himself.
How I plan on making money with the blog: I plan on monetizing it with ads that I personally have approved. That way they aren't bs and I am able to keep a devout following just like book series have. However instead of advertising right away I plan on introducing ads slowly and steadily so there are no surprises to any of my readers.
How I plan on getting readers: Create buzz in the community so that word of mouth gets out about us.
One thing that I plan on doing to create that buzz is sending out press releases.
Design: It will be very plain and unobtrusive that way the focus is on the content.
Name: Once I get topics nailed down I can start to dig into what names would fit. I do like original and made up names though. (Way more brandable to.
Characters: I am still developing characters and figuring out how this will all go together. However I am eager to see if it works.
Writers: I definitely cannot write because I am not able to stick to one topic when writing. I always end up putting out a 5 page paper that varies from tech to pandas. It just won't work with me writing.
If you are a writer and is interested in possibly writing for me send me a pm letting me know what kinda personalitie you have or can write about. Please don't say "anything" cause that is not very specific plus it will bring the blog down if I hire you and you aren't passionate about writing with said personality.
