Here is my new post as the one below is rather long:
"Hi My name is Joey, I live in California. I am looking to go into business for my self, once again. I am here to meet others like minded. I look forward to receiving input from others."
Why hello, my name is Joey, I hail from San Luis Obispo California. I work for a local in home IT company, but "IT" or "computers" is not my passion, it just happens to make me money.
I've decided to reach out to other people inspiration from like minded people. My current job offers the opportunity to meet plenty of new people and a few head strong entrepreneurs which is good to me, but doesn't offer much for growth. In fact with out programming or working through management doesn't offer much growth in the trade. Not to mention I really seeing being on my own more than anything.
Which brings me to why I am here.
The day I graduated high school I was handed the keys to the office for my first business. Cē Computer Consulting. I had an empire in my head to build. Providing computer training and assistance to businesses and home users. No capital and no idea what the hell i was doing, just an idea and a few skills. It was a lot of work, and I spent a lot of time pacing waiting for the phone to ring. There were, as they always warn you, ups and downs. I eventually realized I didn't want to work in the computer field and wanted to explore other opportunities and tried other things. And opened one more business since then.
But I've spent the last few years working for people and realized, I miss that, headaches and all. I love being a thinker, and in charge, I love the thrill of the chase, and I love helping people. After recent changed at my work I've realized I think it's time, but this time I am more educated in business, organized and my desired out come is very different. Before I wanted the business because I wanted the Glory. Now I realize I can actually help people and I DO have something to offer, I still want the Glory, but the Goals are real now for the clients, and me.
I will be providing a somewhat hi end one on one training and assistance service to clients near the location where I live. So now I'm going to take the step forward to turn my ideas and "business plan" in my head to being on paper. and then, open up shop.
I ran across this site and decided to join up. Unlike most people I don't know a lot of people who are largely successful at being on their own,so hopefully I will get the support I need on here!

I feel your pain; I hate working for others as well, being bossed around, and being forced to do something even when I know it's not the correct/proper thing to do. People tend to do things the cheap/easy way just to get them done to satisfy others rather than the correct, time consuming way.
