    Internet Advertisings Vs Traditional Advertisings

    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and I got overwhelmed with this young entrepreneur community being so co-operative. I have a few suggestions about the huge advertising expenses which the corporate are bearing (actually we the consumers are bearing that through the price we pay to buy the item). And I strongly disagree with the idea of carrying it on even in this time of economic slowdown which we are facing at current. So, let's do a comparative study about Internet Ads and Traditional Ads.

Internet Ads are less expensive and they get across a larger medium.

Yes, you are right. If the advertisers can save up their cost in advertising, we as consumer can enjoy a lower rate on our purchases.....

    Different advertising venues, different strengths

    Hey, everybody!

Yes, you're right - I've heard of studies about the over-saturation of traditional advertising making it less and less effective, and the huge cost is definitely passed on to the consumers. However, radio and TV ads have one thing Internet and other print ads can never have: they're "intrusive." (That's the ad industry's term, not mine.) You can be driving down the road minding your own business and over the radio will come a little message that may catch your attention or may just worm its way into your subconscious. THAT can grow into good results - the advertising campaign is then also a marketing tool.

And no, I am not a rep for any broadcast company - quite the opposite! I'm just saying that various forms of advertising each have their strengths.

Oh well, just my two cents worth . . .
