I'm a new blogger on YE - please vote on my next blog topic!

    Hello to everyone on YoungEntrepreneur,

What a lively community of business gurus! I've been browsing through the site and reading the eclectic mix of comments and stories.

I've just started blogging for YE and thought I should introduce myself on the forum.

I run a start-up from London, England, BusinessBecause, a business school news, networking and jobs site. Over the last couple of years we've built up a global community of readers before, during and after b-school, who are considering why to do an mba, where to do an mba and mba career opportunities.

From what I can gather most of you are from the US? I'm writing from across the Atlantic and would appreciate some American views on my next blog post for YoungEntrepreneur! Please tell me if you'd like to hear about:

    1. Practical tips for hiring interns
    2. The phrase "women in business' is outdated
    3. How to prepare for a business trip abroad
    4. Unconventional tips for new entrepreneurs

Or something else? Let me know and I'll try to incorporate your suggestions in to my next blog piece!

    THANKS, Kate

    Hi Kate,

Very cool that you will start to do this.

    I voted for:

    4. Unconventional tips for new entrepreneurs

A topic I would really like to see written on is networking. For example lets say you move to a brand new city or go to school in a new city/country. What are the best methods to start networking and to make business connections.

I can not wait to read your firs blog so let us know when its up.

    Welcome aboard!

Thanks Dave! I'll start thinking about unconventional networking tips! I've actually written 2 blogs already - the fist (3 Pieces of Advice for Entrepreneurs to Ignore) is already published (this forum won't let me include links sorry) and the second should be published shortly... I'll be working on the third blog in a couple of weeks once I've gathered some more feedback!
