Hello all,

I am a 19 year old student of journalism and law at the University of Technology, Sydney. I would consider myself a very ambitious person...I work full time and study full time but have now realised I am sick of making other people money with MY time. I would say I am a creative person however, am not trained in business or anything of the like, which is where this website comes in...I have been reading through it most of the day and I am so impressed by all you guys and your well reasoned responses. I can't wait to learn from you and am so glad that there are other like minded young people out there. There is nothing more that irritates me then a bunch of young people sitting around doing nothing because "you're only young once". Whilst I agree, I think that when you're young, carefree with no responsibilities - this is the BEST time to try your luck and to bring your ideas into reality. I have had many business ideas and have recently started to bring one into fruition. I hire out smart, nice and good looking girls and guys to do promotional sampling, act as bar staff, vip hosting, etc for large scale events. It's going pretty well at the moment, and my company has already received three bookings for girls to do promotional sampling at some large scale dance parties early next year - and that's before even opening!!

Anyway, enough about me and I hope I'm welcome here =)

Sounds like a fun biz to be getting into. There's a company here in SA, I think they also operate in the States - called 'Liquid chef'... they do something similar; they're doing really well and receive loads of publicity. Unfortunately there website is a bit shit - .:: Liquidchefs ::.
