    I am new on here...

I am 22 and missed out on a College education as my mother (divorced parents) was diagnosed from cancer, and though I finished High School in the UK, I began working at the age of 15 to support my mother, my younger sister and I.

I have worked ALL sorts of jobs. Manual and non-manual. I have worked Security, clerical, management, administration, sales, marketing, supervision and I have a GREAT aptitude for learning.

I am currently working at an Italian company which has a branch in Illinois here in the US. It's my dream to be able to open a business in America and move up in life. To catch up with "on the road College" as I move my business up and up.

I also really want to stay in the US, regardless of whether I manage to open a business or not. Now that my mother is all clear and cured (which is good ) I am dedicated and passionate to making this happen.

The problem is I am a little lost on where to begin and how to do it. Yes, and you might find this a little silly, even on the SUBJECT of what I want to really devote my working time on.

I am writing on here bcoz I would appreciate any advice, any contacts, any data on how I can start, even if small but something. anything.

This may be too vague and I understand. But anything you can suggest I will appreciate. ANY kind of help or advice of any kind.

Sometimes it might just take a little push or motivation to get you seeing the right path ahead.

    Thank you all

    Best, Marco
