    Howdy from Sydney, Australia!

    Gday to all!

    Just joined this site ... looks like a great place to be bouncing ideas and feedback around with like minded people ...

    Im in the business of starting a social networking site (another one i hear u say hehehehe) but this one is a little bit different.

    Looking for like minded people, or people in the same industry / field.

    Still at seed stage of company, pushing for investments within a few months.

    Hope to meet some great people on here!

    i built my own social networking site, it has since been deleted as i got a little bored with it. i coded it all from scratch so everythign was custom done.

    Im from Sydney as well. So welcome to the forums

    @ Thunderbox - why did you get bored of it? Also, how many members did you peak at? was it hard to administer? (i.e. how much time did it take up?).

    @ Akula - how is your site going? same questions ...... how many members do you have? Is it hard to maintain and administer?

    To both of you, what sort of background are you from? (Info tech / Management / Operations etc etc)???

    i Hadn't even launched it when i gave up. but good news, I just started it again. got all the basics down, so should be up in a month or so.

    Im a Coder, and currently completing a degree in Information Systems, but i'm really only doing that so i can move up and eventually get a masters or phd.
