Hello,

Just found this forum and after reading just a handful of posts am excited by the content.

I am currently involved with two businesses:
in my day job I sell advertising for a startup tech firm that is well supported supported by founders' capital and local investors. Angel money should be in the near future. I'm not an executive in this business but I am one of just five salespeople responsible for keeping the lights on.

I am also working on selling a filter to local governments. The technology is patented.

My experience ranges from politics (worked for the DNC and local mayor's board) to finance (worked on a trading desk in London and for CITIgroup) but overall I have a strong desire to setup my own sustainable business.

My best skill right now would have to be sales. I have my company's record in the two nicest categories: biggest deal and biggest day.

In the near future I will looking in this forum for specifics on approaching government entities and how to manage credit card payments.

My goal for this forum is to provide helpful opinion and to receive it!!!!!
