Hi Guys,

I'm a 19 year old entrepreneur all the way from South Africa! I've run my own business since I was 13 and about a year back I went into a partnership with a good friend doing web and corporate design!

Cool huh? Well the reason that I joined these forums is because I absolutely love business, always have, and I'm really hoping to learn from some of the more successful people who lurk in these forums! Sometimes I wish I didn't need to sleep, so I could learn how to become better at the things I do.
We've just redesigned our website, started up a blog, and are trying to increase our social networking efforts (hence me signing up here!). We are always looking for new ideas and trying to improve how we do things.

My problem is that I've been taking in so much information lately, I don't even know where to begin processing it and putting the good stuff to use!

I'd really appreciate it if you guys would take a look at our site - Any feedback would be greatly appreciated (constructive criticism is awesome!). The site is built in Joomla! and as you may notice, we are total newbies when it comes to blogging. I'd love some advice from the more seasoned pros!

You definatley have a business head you and thats great to see!

Starting a business at 13 is a great accomplishment an my friends here would agree.

As you've probably experienced by now, it's not all fun and games, but with the right attitude, you can go a long way.

I've just taken a quick look at your site. The design looks great!

The only bad part of your site, that I can see, is the banner you have in the middle.

A web design company should utilize every aspect of their site, but the majority of the banner is blank.

Personally, when I hire a web designer, I look at every detail of their site, before allowing them to start on mine.

As for the banner, I forgot to mention - It's a work in progress! My partner is busy working on a flash showcase type thing for the banner. For the moment, though, that's just a placeholder image. Our idea is to showcase information about Site Fusion with a "design room/play room" kind of theme to it. Or perhaps even link it up somehow with our blog. What do you think? We just want something fancy for the home page - Being a design business and what not

Oh right, that's a great idea.

You should definitely have a link to your blog.

This gives views the opportunity to post your blog posts on Facebook, Twitter etc, which to me and you, is valuable exposure.

Well there are already various links to our blog on the page. I'm guessing, though, that by "have a link to your blog" you're thinking along the lines of an introduction to a featured article or something like that?

From our actual blog, within each article, there is the option to share it on social networking sites already.

I will be sure to let you know when the finished product is.. well.. finished!
