Hi! I just joined the community today - looking forward to making some great connections and learning a lot!

I'm an MBA student about to finish up in April (yay!) and am working in small business while I get my degree. My bosses are both serial entrepreneurs (27 businesses and counting...) and just finished a book about bootstrapping - starting a business with less than $5,000 upfront. This is their favorite form of entrepreneurship, and I'm rapidly becoming a fan too. No need to worry about venture capital, bank loans, or IPOs (all of which are a nightmare in the current economy).

So I'm currently trying to survive one last semester and am busy blogging about the book (Bootstrapped! A No Bull Solution for Small Business Success). If there are any other bootstrappers in the community, I'd love to hear about your experiences....

Well, I'm from Colorado, but live and work in Provo right now.

The book is at the publishers now and should be out in late March or early April. But rather than buy it, you can sign up for the blog, blog.bootstrapbusiness.org, where I'm blogging the book, section by section - that way it's free! I just finished blogging Chapter 1 today.....
