Hi all,

Joined YE because I wanted to induce more serendipity into my life and find a place where I can connect and share ideas with like-minded people.

I’m currently 23 living in Knoxville, TN. I was attending the University of Tennessee for computer science. Decided to drop out because I came to the realization that I didn’t love what I was doing, and I didn’t believe the education was worth the money and time. I felt with the internet and the vast amount of free information available to me. I was better suited teaching myself.

Since dropping out I have been reading a lot of business books. For example, books by Malcolm Gladwell, Freaknomics, Warren Buffet, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and many others. I’m currently working part-time at a small business, and I’m also working on my own business venture. The manager of the small business gave me money to startup a small screen printing shop. I’m currently doing pretty well for myself, although most of my orders come from him. The way things are working out right now is not how I envisioned it. At its current stage it is not an independent business because I am so dependent on my manager/mentor. My goal is to get it to that independent stage within the end of next year.

If you have any advices, ideas, or would just like to talk about business ideas/opportunities contact me. I have basic programming skills (C++, PHP, SQL) , and I’m currently looking for people with the same drive and ambition of building something great. Specifically graphic designers, but I’m willing to work with anyone.

Also, please excuse any grammar mistakes. English is my second language, I’m working on it.
