Hey

Hola. My name is Adam, I'm 17, and I'm basically as unofficial an entrepreneur as they go lol. I've sold everything from pokemon cards to candy to things you wouldn't believe, and as of right now, I have about 2,000 frooties left (out of 4,800) sitting in a box in my trunk in bags of 20 lol, just to give you an idea. I've also had a nice diverse portfolio of jobs too (ranging from being a porter to a carpenter/electrician to a roofer to a tutor to a courtesy clerk and so on).

Anyways, don't let me get off on the wrong foot here. I'm on my way to MSU to get my degree in Finance and somewhere along the line my CPA. A little while back however I decided that hourly minimum wage work is not for me. Money = Time + Work, and you ideally want to make as much money doing as little work in as little time as possible. While starting my own business doesn't bring about the perfect answer (I understand I need to put in a lot of hard work to make things happen), flipping burgers for minimum wage doesn't exactly fit my little equation too well.

I'm very glad I found this website actually. I haven't had the opportunity to look around yet, but the prospect of having a group of other teen entrepreneur's like myself to share ideas and experiences with sounds like a perfect chance to embetter myself. I hope to be able to give as much as I receive here, as I have a vast amount of experience myself, and until then, I'm going to go have a look around.

Hey,

Hows it going? Welcome to the board.
"A little while back however I decided that hourly minimum wage work is not for me."
------ This is the same exact reason I started doing business, in high school i decided I would not work for 8$/hr, when I could make the same wage doing basically nothing. I also used to sell pokemon cards, in middle school that was my first business "venture," now that I have more money and knowledge I wish the pokemon market was as hot as it used to be.

Check out this wallpaper: http://freelanceswitch.com/downloads...oFive_1600.jpg I currently use it and love it

What are frooties?

Im about to miss the bus haha, hope to hear back from you

Lol, it is nice to see I share common ground with so many people here and I only signed up less than a day ago. I'm glad that I found a place that shares the same business spirit as me.

Btw, frooties are fruit-flavored tootsie rolls. Rather than someone getting a bag with 25 chocolate tootsie rolls, they get 5 green apple, 5 blue raspberry, etc., and while they are absolutely terrible for you (another hobby/passion of mine I guess would be fitness and health, 60 some odd lost pounds and a newfound 6-pack later ), they are the most flavorful and addictive candies I've come across lol.
