Hello! Young, Determined and Looking to Launch

    Hey Everyone,
I'm a very young entrepreneur, currently 16. I'm a big ideas man, I love trying to find new and better ways of doing things, though I'm really looking to get some positive experiences under my belt, thus far in life people haven't been too accommodating with the 11, 13 or 15 year old with big ideas. I'm currently the top in my grade, finishing grade 11 this year, but I'm leaving school because I think as great as academics is, its got nothing on experience and practical learning.

I'm also very big on personal development, and I'm a strong Christian, I'm currently working my way though 'Wild at Heart', a very potent book on what it is to be a man.

My main reason for looking around these forms and being here is to find friends who also have big mindsets and entrepreneurial ideas. My friends are brilliant, but its hard going alone when your friends are all convinced that studying hard and going to uni is the only safe way to succeed in life. I am convinced that safety in this world is no longer safe though, in business and personal development, taking risks has always shown up as a far better method for moving forward.

I hope to get to know and have some great chats with you all, I'm certain I can finally find some other people like me here of all places.
Cheers, and I hope your all having great days.

    Hi there...

Welcome to the community, I hope you get out of it what you are looking for. I'm also a big idea-man, and I'm with you that education isn't everything........ so hopefully we can be friends in that regard.

    HOWEVER....

I strongly strongly recommend you finish 12th Grade, regardless if you want to go to college later. Just because Mcdonalds founder didn't finish highschool, doesn't mean you will be successful by not doing it. 12th Grade is a simple achievement... just knock out 1 more year, and then have that diploma under your belt. It's a lot better to say "I didn't go to college", than to say "I didn't finish highschool".... you know what I mean?

Anyway, hope to see you around here soon.

Freshman in college and lifelong entrepreneur. Don't quit highschool, I loved senior year and it's tough if you want to go back with a GED.
