Hello everyone!

My name is Alida. I'm 25 and have been in the freelance/trying to start a business world for about 3 years since I was let go from an event design job a few Decembers ago. I have started a few businesses--a couple with partners which never went anywhere (event characters, event design), one which has had enough success for the last couple of holiday seasons that I would like to keep building it (holiday party Christmas Carolers), and a group travel business (starting with a couples travel club)with my boyfriend which we are working on getting off the ground.

I have learned a lot from my mistakes and I've joined this site to also learn from the mistakes and successes of others as well. I look forward to talking to many of you!
