    Hello! New Entrepreneur - Kaloves.com

    Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce myself to the board. My name is Austin and I am a 25-year-old entrepreneur. I decided this year it was time to take the step I have always talked about since a child, starting my own business. After many years of my mediocre lifestyle and a path of consistency I decided it was time to make a change. Thanks to the discovery of "The Secret" and many self-help speakers and websites like YE my life is now on track and progressing greatly!

We plan to launch our website in 2010 and my goals are to help others all while doubling my income in the companies first year. I still currently work full time and have been working my "job" and my business sometimes 20 hours a day. My drive and dedication to the success of my company gets stronger everyday thanks to people like all of you! So I would like to thank you all!

Here is a quick overview of my business.

The Kaloves mission is to bring fashion enthusiasts together with fashion designers in an online community where they can discuss fashion, showcase their talent, and most importantly purchase unique designs that are not mass-produced! Kaloves provides a location where up and coming designers can reach customers all over the world at the same time providing fashion consumers with a marketplace to choose from thousands of designs not readily available in retail stores. Join Kaloves.com and become the fashionista you’ve always wanted to be!

    Thanks again,
    Austin

Rome (and Disneyworld) wasn't built in a day. I do recall seeing a piece on FoxNews about a company that rents out dresses like one would rent a car. It was very successful.

I'm not into fashion but I think one idea that might catch on is affordable elegance which you might be able to incorporate into your site. To be frank, the economy isn't going to get any better and a crash may occur this year or in 2011. As a result, standards of living have and will continue to plummet which leaves the door open for affordable elegance since people will be on unemployment (like me) or in fear they may lose their job. Just off the top of my head---you may want to consider doing some type of fashion show where you showcase high quality clothing at reasonable prices.

Briefly, I graduated grad school in Dec. 2008. I have a master's in librarianship. Perhaps I could be of service?
