Hi everyone, my name is Chris... I found this forum via a Mashable.com article.

Just two months ago, I quit my desk job as an insurance agent to become my OWN insurance agent. My dreams are too big to work for someone else. I have several projects that I'm working on:

I have a vision of revolutionizing the way consumers purchase insurance online with my agency, I want to consult other business owners on marketing/sales strategies, and I want to blog to help people reach their goals. I've got a lot on my plate but I'm ambitious and stubborn... two key ingredients for success

How is this going for you? I'm currently growing a life insurance agency based out of Dallas. We utilize a very efficient proprietary lead generation system for direct mail leads, internet leads, and telemarketing leads. We still make our sales the "old fashioned way" in the client's home but, I believe that within a few years we will be able to close all sales online.
