Hello,
Hope you are all well.
I am from the north coast of BC but have made my home in Vancouver. I am the father of one and a second is coming.
It began for me with a video on YouTube and then an idea was born. But for some reason I wasn’t able to forget about it as another flight of fancy. I would lie in bed plotting out aspects of my little idea, I would discuss this or that aspect of the idea with my wife, I would talk to any of my friends and co-workers about it. I couldn’t stop plotting and investigating aspects of the idea, people would propose problems or challenges and while discouraging to think of the massive undertaking that this would be and that I really should focus on something that has been done before or hunt for a better job, I just could not let this idea drift away. Finally, because I think my wife had enough and in order to get me to shut up told me I needed to start writing stuff down. So I started doing that.
Now I am about nearly done of the rough draft of my business plan. I have no idea if it is any good, I have no background in starting a business, but I have a launch date of April 2009, with a glitzy launch party (the kind you see in Vancouver View Magazine,

. Between now and then I have to finish the plan, demonstrate to my wife that I will make money off this idea, and generate the sponsorship / corporate interest to make it all entirely free to the public.
What am I putting together? Grassroots motorsports is the only hint I will throw out there right now as I don’t want to bore you with all the details just yet.
