    Hello from the Northwoods!

Finally, I've found others who are motivated! I grew tired of trying to find inspiration from folks who have been beaten down into believing they have to work for someone else (and that I probably should, too) - so thanks to everyone here for some rejuvenation.

It has become ever apparent that a middle class income is not going to do much for my goals in life and that it is time for me to take the reigns.

My background is pretty administrative, so in addition to seeking like-minded people, I am hoping to learn a bit more about low-budget but capturing marketing and finding that courage to put myself out there.

Anyway - so glad to be here!

I have many ideas, but my focus right now is to promote reuse/recycling, to provide an engine for business promotion (I have a love of mom & pop industries), and to provide tips on frugality through internet classifieds.

I haven't officially launched yet, so most of my input lies in what I have done so far. I have a limited budget, which has forced some creativity and that I venture in unfamiliar territory. It's been fun watching my ideas morph as I progress. In hindsite, I have probably spent a little more money than I really needed to, and my tasks are taking a much longer time than I anticipated. I guess that's why many become serial entrepreneurs. The biggest stumbling block has been getting family members to get on board. My successes have been learning and accomplishing so many facets of the project that I have never done before. I'm a little chicken about marketing, but I remain optimistic.

Thanks for your replies! Now share yours...

Howdy Swapit. What does your screen name mean? Welcome to the YE boards. My name is DeAnne, I am 25 and currently in college for Business. I started school late due to alot of personal drama in the past but ready to move on. I have always been interested in business, and this board is a great place to get insight.

I work for a company called Galaxy Web Designs. Anyways my main project is Product Ratings | Business Reviews, which is a compilation of products and businesses. I add them and review them. Also I review other people's business or products. So if you have anything to add, it's a great place to get more traffic. :-)

    Again welcome.
