Hello from the Ice Cream Man!

Hello everyone,

My name is Justin, I am 18 and currently live in a suburb near Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ever since taking an entrepreneurship class my sophomore year of high school I knew that I wanted to start a business. I worked at a pizza joint all throughout high school, this summer I decided to venture out of my safe and secure job to start a business.

The thought of driving an ice cream truck crossed my mind so I decided to dive a little deeper and do some research. About a month later I was out on the road selling ice cream, no longer relying on the pizza place to earn a paycheck. These first two months of business have been quite an adventure, it has been a good test of my entrepreneurial spirit.

Starting in mid-august I will be attending Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana as a pre-business major. As long as my grades stay up I will be admitted to the college of business at Ball State and study entrepreneurship.

Well that's me in a nutshell, I hope to meet everyone here and have some good group discussions etc.


P.S. If anyone else is going to Ball State and wants to start up a business let me know, I really want to start something else to do in the colder months!

It sounds like we might have some mutual interests in the Winter months. I am the 'financial partner' if you will, and am looking for an entreprenurial partner to be the face of the business. Ironically, I have feelers out, for this opportunity, at the Ball State Employment Office and the alumni association. I started my first business while a sophomore in college.
