This looks like a lively group of young high spirited and capable entreprenuers to come to with my marketing woes... well, more frustrations than woes really..

my wife and I have a small Mom & Pop jewelry / design studio in Oregon and are looking for advice and direction in furthering our marketing efforts... "the next step".

But before I blurt out all the details and really start whining and boohooing about all my attempts to find a project manager and the frogs that had to be kissed who turned out to just be frogs, and my poor copywriting skills and lame attempts to "advertise" and my outdated clunky and stodgy web site and the whole blogging attempt and the affiliate maze I thought it might just be a good idea to just introduce myself..

So, Hello.

50's not too old to join is it?

Welcome, Bob. As for the age, my opinion of youngentrepreneur is that it represents a common interest, not an age requirement. Feel free to seek help, as there are a lot of good resources here.

KC... behind every successful man is a good woman (or two) If your wife has the right personality to handle working with you and you her, it can be a great thing, better than any partnership and, with perks

but...

if one of you have the wrong personality for this type of endeavour... it can be a never ending nightmare through the gates of hell and back. It will cause you as much stress and grief than either of you could imagine...

I got real lucky with Carol and we work together like a finely oiled machine... but it didn't get that way overnight...

With a good woman behind you and with her full support, their is nothing a man can't do... with the wrong woman... there is nothing a man can do right. lol
