My name is Joel...

im really young... yet ambitious... im a college student ... and work part time... actually it could be considered full time... 30-40hrs...


i have finally saved up $10,000 in the past year.... and i really dont want to see it go to waste...


hence i googled up investments... found this forum... and hopefully i will do something smart with the money...

it may not sound like much money at all to the older and wiser folks here.... but the 10 grand i have is worth alot to me... its my sweat.

i dont know if it is even enough for any noticible investments..


any suggestions?.... (i am also going to be reserching on my own... but all suggestions are welcomed)

Welcome. It might be good to make an assessment of your skills.
For example, do you like to talk to people?
Or do you prefer to work at the computer more?

Good for you! Do you know how many 30, 40, 50, and even 60 year olds that do not have ten thousand dollars in the bank? A bunch! Again, good for you!

Be very careful as there are trolls that will try to scam you out of your money.

im good at both.... im a waiter right now... all i do is talk to people and kiss their ass.... but aside from that.. im a people person... but if there is an option... id rather chose to work alone on the comp... since it isnt as time consuming as meeting up with someone and discussing business over lunch.


and computers is my major... (also the medical field)
