First I'll start by introducing myself; my name is Michael I'm 20 years old out of Clearwater Beach, FLA. I'd like to dicuss "Think and Grow Rich," by Napoleon Hill. I stumbled upon this forum last night and reached a thread that was talking about some good books to read. So I went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a copy of Napoleons book and also Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends & Influence people. I am a strong believer in the law of attraction throughout life and couldn't believe the similarities in concepts when I got through the "Desire" chapter. It seems to me that the law of attraction is not only the key to money- but the key to a successful life in general. If you are not familiar with the law of attraction it is the idea that anything you visualize and can manifest inside of your mind you can and will achieve! Now I have yet to start a successful business or even turn a profit in the form of a physical bank note for myself. However I believe I have already gained full success to myself by applying this lifestyle to my train of thought. I just want to urge a basic and sometimes not so obvious thought to live by. Every young entrepreneur should live and meditate on this saying every second of your life!From the moment you awaken until you close your eyes at night! ANYTHING YOU CAN BELIEVE YOU WILL ACHIEVE. Put this phrase into its true place in your heart and you will be guaranteed success in your life. Not only with money, but with love,friendships,contentment, and a self-worth undeniable to anyone or anything!

LOA is a great resource when used properly. Also I would recommend Science of Success by Wattles... by the sound of your post, you will love this book too.

Thanks for the inspiration and I completely agree about the laws of attraction. I have also read "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles and truly believe it! It's so nice to hear other young entrepreneurs that believe in something that I believe in!! Where I live and work most people just believe in working all their lives at the same job making the same amount of money and never have any goals in life and don't believe that they can acheive more.

Hello Michael. I am about halfway through How to Win Friends and Influence People myself, I'm already trying to use a lot of the techniques and ideas myself.

Also, I haven't read Think and Grow Rich but I am also currently working on The Laws of Success in Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill. But from some of the CD's and such that I listen to and recommendations that I get The Laws of Success in Sixteen Lessons goes much more in depth about the actual process than Think and Grow Rich. Apparently this happened because the book was so spot on figuring out how the wealthy became wealthy that the rich people did kind of freak out about it and actually got the book pulled from bookshelves for a while.
