Hello - A Somewhat Lengthy Intro

    Hello Fellow Young Entrepreneurs,

My name's Matt and I'm 16 years old living in Manchester, UK. As some of you may or may not know, we finish compulsory education at the age of 16 - most people move on to college for 2 years to study upto 4 subjects of their choice. I attended college for 1 month studying ICT, Business, Psychology & Sociology however I wasn't happy and getting somewhat depressed with waking up every morning and dragging myself into college and so I decided to leave.

A close friend of mine, also Venture Capitalist and Serial Entrepreneur has helped me get on my feet working full time from home. My Official Job Title is Executive Assistant for Tenonine Inc, which basically means doing a wide range of things to free up his time which include Server Setups, Research, Planning and Updating various Development Blogs.

We're currently planning a Business Conference which will take place in May 2010 aimed towards Young Entrepreneurs - The 'New Entrepreneur' Conference which will be an amazing 2-day event held in Dusseldorf, Germany.

In conjunction with the conference - TNEC - we are developing a full-on Conference Management Solution which we'll offer as Software as a Service (SaaS) for other conferences. This project is called iCoOrg - also short for iConference Organization and is currently undergoing development.

My lifetime ambition is to be a successful Serial Entrepreneur with involvement in a multitude of markets, preferably Internet, Retail & Business. I would also like to become a Venture Capitalist if I achieve an ample degree of success so I can offer my expertise and financial support to those who deserve it.

I look forward to my immediate future as an aspiring entrepreneur and hope to share my experiences with others along with learning various tricks of the trade so to speak.

If you wish to add me on MSN, feel free to do so by looking at my profile and if you wish to learn anything more, don't hesitate to ask either by replying here or PMing me - I won't bite . Also, my twitter is @mattrepreneur - I follow everyone who follows me.

Thanks for your time & I look forward to getting involved in many discussions,
Matt Ellis - A 16 Year Old from Manchester, UK

I'm also 16 and also from the UK...but from Leicester.

Good luck with your ventures, the conference sounds cool.

Thanks Ethan, got you on Twitter so hope we'll get to know each other - also, TheStartupist looks like a cool blog, I think I'll follow that via RSS - let me know if you want to do any interviews/guest posts, I'd be more than happy.

And Hey Sophie! Nice to meet you, it's cool to see people of the same age on here, makes me feel like I fit the trend . Are you 16 as in at college, school or neither?

Hey MegaB! Nice to meet you, I always try to make my mark - after all, first impressions are what counts. So I'm about 250 miles from you then, not too far I guess.
