Hello everybody! My name is Joe Jagella, although I often go by “Jagella” when I'm online. If you prefer to call me “Joe,” that's OK too.

I openly admit that I'm a struggling graphic-design business owner. I'm not making much money especially online. I'm hoping to change that though, and I'm hoping that many of you can help.

If there's one thing I'd like to learn here, it's what makes entrepreneurs tick. I want to know who the typical entrepreneur is and what he or she is looking for especially in regard to graphic design services. Do you need business cards? How might you prefer to get them? Do you need a designer to create a logo for you, or do you prefer to do it yourself? If you want an ad created, what kind of an ad might it be? How can I earn your trust? What factors can lead you to hire me to work for you?

I still do web design (on a per project basis), but I know a graphic designer and they are doing great... "offline".

If you're really good, I would say to try 99designs.com.

Look into your local area for work. As times get tough, people are starting businesses left and right, and they need a designer.
