Greetings to all as I am new here!

    Hello everyone!

I am new here and I am from Vancouver, BC Canada.

Recently, I was laid off from work for almost 8 years. I've been job hunting for 3 weeks everyday and no sign good fortune. Job market in Vancouver looks bad. For the same job that I do, the companies are low balling the figures. Not very incentive.

I am considering alternative, and that is to go startup. Question is, in what? I am inching close to 40 and I feel I may have lost my 25 - 35 youthfulness to be a young entrepreneur.

Hopefully I can get some innovative ideas from here.
