    Wink Greetings from Vancouver, Canada!

I am 28 (is that still considered young? lol) and currently run a successful local transportation business that I started when I was 22.

I started with very little money (just $300 in my bank account at the time), a cell phone, and a trusty ol' Ford Taurus Station wagon (may it rest in peace).

Today I have a bunch of drivers, and I am now stuck in the office.

I created a business which takes care of me, and my family (and my drivers families now), and I did it without business loans.

All it took, was a lot of pounding the pavement and a lot of thinking "out-of-the-box."

If you have dreams, create small goals. Once you accomplish those goals, set more bigger goals, and keep climbing until you reach your dreams. It will not happen overnight. But with focus, you can accomplish it!

Looking forward to talking with ya'll!

    Cheers!

    Hi supertoddy

    Welcome to YE

Age is not important (but glad to hear you are so young) - think of people like Grandma Moses and Colonel Saunders[Southern Fried Chicken] it is what you do with that time.

So glad you have created a system to support you and your team - that needs to be applauded.

I liked your comments about goals - Have you read 'Your Dreams are too Small' - inspirational. It suggests starting with the WHY? and breaking it down to a series of smaller goals in a downward staircase - putting dates on each level and then figure out the work required to achieve that goal. Make sure each step is achievable - but not too easy - DON'T forget to set a reward at each step

    WELL DONE that Man
