Lightbulb Greetings from Toronto
Hi all,

Thought I would give a quick shoutout here. I'm a 20 year-old student just outside Toronto here in Canada. 2nd year Aviation Management student in college, and sole proprietor of a small business providing aerial photography -- it's a lot of fun!

Welcome to the forum. I'm new here as well. Seems like a great place to learn and network.

Oh Yea! An instructor once told me that if I wanted to really elevate in the real estate industry, I should learn to fly. I'm gonna have to act on it hopefully sometime in 2008.

In my experiences so far, the best and most affordable way for an agent to obtain and capture aerial images is to do them yourself! Hiring someone else to do them is generally too costly for the marketing budgets of most individual agents or realtors, unless it's a big ticket property (one house I've shot has a selling price of about $5,000,000). These are all generalities though, compared to others my pricing is actually quite affordable.

However, for commercial/retail real-estate, development, construction & design/build, there are definitely more opportunities out there.
