    Greetings from Ireland!

    Hi all,

    Just registered here today.

I have my own business in sports awards etc. & I am looking to source some of my products direct from China. (already have a Chinese acquaintance who is in the import-export business).

I was trying to think as to whether there are other businesses, markets that I should think about entering - making the use of my import contacts? Preferably something that is not capital intensive as a start-up.

I have one or two in mind, but cannot opt for them at the moment, as they require a large amount of funding to start.

I intend to stick to the business I have for the next few months, get my imports for this business rolling (slowly and steadily), then I will be looking for new markets.

I would especially like to hear from people who already import from Asia as to what the most popular products are, or any person who thinks they know what is a good direction to head in.

    Any responses are greatly appreciated!

I look forward to writing more threads & absorbing as much information as I can from this site.

    Thanks for reading,

    Irish_guy
