    Got spoiled!

Hey all -- msufan here. I am interested in generating some side income streams from home. I got big into online skill gaming (as my sig indicates) and managed to make $90,000 in four years by simply playing online games like Bejeweled and Scrabble Cubes. Eventually, my ranking in those games got too high for me to win any serious money from them, so now I'm turning to more stable options. I've tried everything from surveys to moola.com (back to the games thing) to domain name arbitrage to blogging for cash to starting a more serious online business, but I'm hoping some tips from everyone here can help me to settle on a new, sustained online opportunity.
I made $90,000 playing these games! Now I'm here to find other innovative ways of making a side income.

Well if you want to become a millionaire, get a billion dollars and start and airline.

    Hope that helps.

wait a minute... if I had a billion dollars... I wouldn't want to be a millionaire...

no seriously, I think the next "fad" is to capitalize on people's current economic fears. Stuff like solar panels, dried food designed for long-term storage, that type of stuff. As long as the markets continue to plummet, people are going to be looking for products that make them feel safe.

i think you should stick to competitive gaming...
if i could predict one thing, it's almost certain that gaming in US will increasingly continue to resemble gaming in asia (i.e. turn into a spectator sport)...particularly within korean and chinese communities

i think you should set up a store selling specialist gaming hardware...computers tweaked for gaming, big tv's..try to invent a pc that plays console games, or a chip that lets consoles play pc games...or a cross platform chip that lets playstations play xbox games etc...the evolution of gaming into a competitive sport is a better trend to latch onto than the economic crisis

...markets are setting historical records for volatility, which means we're gonna see new records set for market rebounds (as we did on wed)...so this "doom and gloom" trend isn't persistent enough for my liking
