    Good Day Fellow Self-Employed

    Saying hello from Baltimore, MD.

2008 was the first year that I actually had to pay the fed during tax season. Anyone else experience this recently? I've been getting increasingly more money back from fed AND state since age 15, and now, all of a sudden, I have to pay them!?!?

    Anyone else experience this recently?

Anyway - I'm 24 - recent college graduate - and love to develop the web. I've also had a lot of experience with business operations. I'm an IT Business Consultant, kinda

    My thoughts on MONEY...

With the <buzzword>economy</buzzword> the way it is today - it is time to INVEST. Make your money, but save it too. Have your money work for you. There are several under valued stocks out there!

    See yall on the boards
I'm a partner at a Baltimore, Maryland SEO company who loves to invest as much money as possible - both in the stock market as well as into my growing agency!

If you're young - NOW IS THE TIME TO INVEST into the stock market -- you will be very happy in 20-50 years, when you retire on a fat stack of cash!

YMI, I'm in Baltimore, also. And, believe me, I was baffled the first time I owed the Fed money. But after a couple years of adjusting my withholding strategy and better tracking my deductions, I was able to get out of that hole.
