girl entreprenuer here

hello all,

glad i found this community.

i am a 25-year-old owner of a small company with 8 employees.

i used to work for the government until i got sick of the bureaucracy and decided to become my own boss.

i started all by myself, and then hired two people, and then five..and so on.

i'm just here to meet young entrepreneurs like myself. i really do not have a lot of entrepreneur friends to discuss ideas with. happy to be here

LOL i guess i do have communist tendencies

my story is as boring as the next entrepreneur's. i quit my job when i began earning more from freelancing. worked from my house for six months, landed a big client, rented out a few square feet of office space and built cubicles, hired employees, fired some, and now i just bought my own office space so my company (no matter how small) will always have a home.

I'm guessing you already had business management skills. Did you have to know anything about programming to start your business up? And where do you go to look to hire employees?
