Fustrated Employee saying hello to all YE's

Hi Guys,

First post on here so be gentle. I live in Brisbane, Australia.

I have known from the age of 14 that I want to be my own boss. At 22, I started my own company, called Quantum Telemarketing. It was a telemarketing business for the financial industry, creating appointments for financial and mortgage reviews. Unfortunately, the business was not sustainable. Not due to lack of customers, but due to lack of capital. To work, I needed premises for a call centre, staff and some VC backing. I trusted another call centre to help me, but ended up being taken for a ride.

Anyway, I have not lost my motivation to be my own boss, and working for a large corp making 75points of profit from me is really starting to frustrate me.

I am ready to make the change, and am wiser for my past experiences. I, like many YE's do not have financial backing, a trust fund or a rich family - I will make it and make it on my own!

welcome to the forum, thanks for sharing your experiences with your own business. It happens but atleast you are not giving up. You also have probably done better than 80% of the ppl on here who read these posts but do not take any action. Anyways i look forward to your contributions
