Hi - pretty new to the forums - have got a lot from them and wanted to give something back...

I've been inspired recently by 37 Signals - the fabulous web outfit. They've written two books - Rework, which has just been released and 'Getting Real' from a few years ago.

Both books are a series of essays where the founder, Jason Fried, talks through his experiences of building and running a web business.

They are brilliant. You should read them.

I'm working on a new web app venture to be launched in September with a partner and I have decided to document progress - warts and all from now to launch and beyond. We believe our key to success is following the lessons in Getting Real.
