I have a small business that I started several years ago where I create custom ergonomic walking canes made from solid hardwoods. I use domestic and exotic species from the world over. My canes are made for Comfort, Stability and Style, so that the cane user has a better grip on the handle, a stronger shaft to support their weight (with the correct height) and with aesthetic appeal, as who wants to be seen with an unsightly medical device that has no sense of style?

I can customize the handle to suit the individual's hand size and shape and take in consideration their issues with arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve damage, etc., as each hand is unique and the cane user needs to feel secure while relying on their walking aide.

I started my business while working a full-time job and did my research and then started my designs and production. Each client has their own needs and wants which makes my job interesting and rewarding, as I am helping people who have physical handicaps that inhibit them from walking and I am able to give them a sturdy product that makes them more mobile and proud to go forward in their day.

My goal is to continue my custom designs to individuals who want a cane that can not only give them support but also show off their sense of style. I am also interested in providing wounded veterans a custom cane for their individual needs, as many of our soldiers have been severely crippled and they deserve a quality product that can also give them a sense of dignity and pride by not looking like a cheap medical device.
