Hi to all, I want to getting information on starting two business that I will need some investors to help me with. I am a freshmen at a college, and plan to start my own record label first by my sophmore/junior year. The other business I want to start is a Movie Company similar to Dash Films, Dreamworks and ect.

Good luck, if you want to find an investor you should put all your thoughts to paper. We do not care to invest in a thought you have, but a belief we get from your plans.

It's great to be visionary but Nordstrom is right on. Investors and the general public alike wants to know what you have done and not what you would like to do. As you are putting your proposal together make sure you are out there trying to do what you do at least on a small scale. You never know what might take off and how quickly. When you build a following you won't even have to look for investors, they will look for you!

Once you have everything together, put your concept, your vision, your financials together and write a strong professional proposal (get someone maybe from a university MBA program to help you). You can then go on a website like PerfectBusiness - The Entrepreneur Network to Create Your Perfect Business and try to pitch it there.
