Hi, i am new on this website, but i figured out that this place can help me with opening a new business. i know that it is a bit early to think about it, but i want to get ready and stuff. i want to open a buisiness in Russia and a want it to be a christian orphanage. it is a very hard thing to imagine to do so i would like some tips and stuff like that. Yee its a slightly unusuall post but it seems if genuine it someone who is trying to do some good in this world, shoudnt we try and help?

Is this a dream or a real plan? Are you researching ahead to plan or just to put out feeders Nelly? do you have any expierence in this field?

It might be worth contacting some of the national and international charities in order to seek funding (assuming that you will be running a charity/not for profit organisation). You will need to do your research and put together a business plan beforehand though.

A Lithuanian/Russian friend of mine has run a charity in the UK, and has had involvement in Lithuanian charities if I remember correctly, for a number of years; let me know if you need any specific advice and I'll see what I can find out (I aim to set up my own charity at some point so you might have questions that I need answering too )

it specialises in sucking the life of all foreigners that come its way

the only reasonable outcome x-nelly-x can expect from trying to accomplish anything in russia is feelings of personal pain, frustration, resentment and misery. anybody looking to subject them selves to this uniquely russian brand of suffering is mentally unstable and needs help

ask any random foreigner who has ever done business in russia and they'll tell you the same thing...like africa, the place is a graveyard for all the western do-gooders who have more time on their hands than common sense

I agree with you on that it is a messed up country. but the thing is tha i am a russian and i feel like a belong there. besides i was thinking about going to an institute there after i complete my gap year. i believe that it is something that i want to accoplish and that it will be done sometime.

this is a real plan and i have been doing a lot of research and am still doing it. i found some contacts in russia who opened an orphanage there already and also i want to do a gap year in another orphanage there, so i would be able to see how things are done. i am actually interested in helping the children. it was after listening to radio and the telly, where i heard how children are treated there and i knew straight away that i wanted to do that. i have been thinking about for 2/3 years now so it is not jst a wish. i have with children for four years now, so i know basically how to handle them and i also help in younger classes in school.

Akula, Africa is not one whole country, as you may already know. It would help if you are a little specific, when speaking about a whole continent. I am originally from a country on the west coast of Africa
