Ambit Energy

As many of you know, the electricty industry has been deregulated in many states including Texas. When looking for electricity choices in Texas, NY & IL please be wary of Ambit Energy. Executives have been made aware that one of their reps, Bob Pearson, is soliciting potential reps for $5,000 - $10,000 in order for him to build their Ambit business.

Chris Chambless claims this is against Ambit policies and even though more than one person has reported Mr. Pearson's tactics, they have chosen to let him stay in Ambit:

Beware of Bob Pearson

Mr. Pearson was exposed on NBC Channel 5 for scamming thousands

My company is an electricity company; the headquarters is located in Houston, Texas. Our startup cost is a mere $99.95 one time and $29.95 per month for your website, back office support system, forms, etc …
Our Residual plan is the best there is, for example: For a personal customer (residence) with a kilowatt usage of 2000 per month we will pay you $6.00 monthly residual. If you were in Ignite or Ambit (2nd band - Texas) you would only earn 50 cents per month residual. If that personal customer were in New York under Ambit (2nd band) you would only earn 10 cents per month residual.
We currently offer electricity service in the state of Texas however we will offer service in New York with additional states to follow.
Our company will accept Residential, Commercial and Apartment customers and new sign up/service customers.
We have also introduced a new green energy product that allows us to build this business in all 50 states and U.S. Territories.

I'm not with Ambit Energy, but know several people who are. There is a long-running thread at MoneyMakerGroup Forum about this company. I am a customer and a rep for Affordable Energy which offers very competitive rates, lower start-up costs, and higher rep payouts.
